The Third Month

Also a good month. By this time, the feedings had been stretched out to every 4 hours. You have no idea what that extra hour did for my sanity. The girls didn't go to the doctor this month for a well child checkup so I have no idea how much they weighed, but I was so proud that they had already outgrown their preemie and newborn clothing. They were officially in 3 month sizes! I was so proud.

Also this month, we took our first trip to Greeneville, Tennesse (Allen's hometown). Allen had a conference in Toronto and I certainly didn't want to be home (ALONE!) for ten days with the girls. So, he dropped me off in TN. It was a great time, but the girls got their first cold ... that was rough. Grandmuggs and I spent 10 days suctioning out their noses. If you've ever had to do this task, then you know it is like sucking out a child's brains. And they hated it. Poor little things! My mom was able to drive over to Greeneville from Sparta to spend a few days which was really nice. The girls were feeling well enough to go shopping with us in Pigeon Forge-- actually, they spent the ENTIRE day out with us. Mom and I, we are marathon shoppers. So whatever spending habits these girls may have when they are older, they certainly come by it honestly.

We had a great time. Pictures below:

  1. I love your blog Becca- it's so cute! I was catching up on it (hence my comment on a post from forever go) and I was wondering if you would by any chance go ahead and take responsiblity for my shopping and spending habits as well- we'll just say you drug me (absolutely had to blindfold me to get me to go) to Fashion Mall one too many times in 8th grade! It'd really help out bc hubby isn't too happy about the recent credit card bill (that he wasn't supposed to see) or the debit purchases he happened to see the other day. And well over Christmas in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, lets just be happy I didn't come home a single Mom!! lol So, you see why it would really help if I could blame my spending habits on you as well?!

Girls are adorable, as usual and it's so good to see that you are loving your life- stressed I'm sure -but very happy it seems!!!
