Today has been a good day thus far. The girls slept really well last night and woke up around 7:30 this morning. We ate breakfast -- oatmeal, apples and prunes. Took a nap and then were off to playgroup by 10:30! I even got to stop for Starbucks on the way. Today we went to the Park off of Cook Road. Such a pretty day -- cloudy, but oh so warm for a February day. It is pretty sketchy getting to it, but still a really nice, new park. Em and Liv swung for the first time! They were unsure at first, but I got some giggles out of Emma. See the pictures. I need to get better with my camera -- it is basically a glorified point and shoot. I tried to use several different settings today, but to no avail. Maybe one day I will be able to take a photography class. They offer one at a local community college, but it is on Monday nights ...and that is when Allen has Grand Rounds. Maybe one day!
Livi woke up this morning with a red spot on her cheek - that is what you see in the pictures. =( I should buy stock in Aquaphor ... these girls' cheeks are forever chapped.
Now the girls are napping and I need to start some homework... but my mind is wondering what I should make for dinner? And I'm thinking about starting that birth story...
