I must have the smartest, most precious babies in the whole wide world. Life is such a joy with these two girls. I mean, how lucky am I to have had TWO babies at once? God must love me. What a wonderful month we had.
Milestones:
- Olivia has teeth!!! In fact, she cut four teeth in two weeks. Yeah, that makes for a pretty miserable time for poor baby. Actually, I didn't even realize that she was cutting them until they were through the gum. Honestly, I didn't expect them to get teeth until a year!
- Emma is still working on her toofers. They're there, but not quite. (not to skip ahead, but they popped out at the veerrrry end of the 10th month, enough to count it at the 11th month, but barely. Like maybe a day or so)
- The girls are very, very mobile these days. Have I told you how ghetto we are?? We still have that "baby gate" of pillows between the couch and recliner.
- The girls are crawling all over the place, pulling up and cruisin' around. Man, they sure are mobile. Makes my life very interesting.
Eating
The girls are still in the process of weaning. :( Makes me very, very sad. We are cutting one feeding a week and will be completely done by 11 months. They are currently taking 2 bottles of formula and nursing 3 times a day. They are also eating like little horses. They LOVE all types of fruit and veggies. We're working on string cheese for snacks. They absolutely detest any sort of meat, but will accept veggie burger.
Sleeping
The girls have dropped the 4 a.m. feeding -- YAYAYAYAYAYA! They are sleeping 12 hours a night which is bliss. And taking two naps a day.
