Pardon Me Roy, Is That The Cat Who Chewed Your New Shoes?

Explanation -- My Daddy and I had lots of fun when I was a kid. One of our favorite things to do when we were driving or kickin' it around the house was to make up words to songs. The title of this blog is "Pardon Me Roy, Is That The Cat Who Chewed Your New Shoes" ... which is our code for "Pardon Me Roy, Is That The Chattanooga Choo Choo" A silly song we used to sing ... Silly, but a fun childhood memory. I won't sing to you the "snot between your toes" lyrics. LOL.





Anywhewt... This post is about our interview in Chattanooga. Sadly, I don't have many pictures (read: none), but this could potentially be the most important post in a long time. It is about our future!





WE'RE MOVING TO CHATTANOOGA!!!!!!!!!!!





That is right, kids, we signed a contract. Before I even had a chance to blog about it... we signed the contract. Allen will be going into private practice with Chattanooga Heart Insititue. Yay! I am SO proud of MY boy!





From the beginning.





Remember my post from Cookeville? This was the same week. We traveled there after our trip to Cookeville. After spending time in Sparta/Cookeville with my parents, we traveled the 75 mintues over the mountain and through the woods to Chattanooga -- it was a Wednesday if my memory serves me correct. We left after the girls lunch and arrived around 2 or 3 and we were starving!!! We checked into the hotel, the Hilton Garden Inn downtown, and then put the girls in the stroller and walked to Hennens. A very lovely restaurant downtown. We enjoyed a very nice salad and some Viognier (one of my new favorites). We were able to get settled that night and relax before our big intervies. That is right, OUR big interviews.



Oh, when we got to the room, they had this basket... very nice:

So, Thursday ... the cardiology wives took me out to a lovely luncheon at the Chattanooga Country Club. It was really nice to meet them and see a preview of what our lives are going to be like. Thursday night, the guys took Allen out on the town to Big River Grille (or something like that). Also Thursday night, my mom came into town to help me with the girls.
