I look back at these pictures with amazement. I grew two human beings .... at the same time. Wow. With all the complications and worry -- first trimester bleeding, bedrest, swelling, fatigue, pre-eclampsia, HELLP syndrome -- I'd do it a million times over if it meant that I could have Emma and Olivia in my life.
The following is my pregnancy in pictures -- or baby bump pics as I like to call them. I have a ton more somewhere, will post later. Enjoy!

This picture was taken right after we were told that we would be inducing labor... I was 33.5 weeks pregnant. Look at my poor, swollen body. Even still, I was bursting with excitement -- not yet aware of what we were about to go through. I love this picture. I was huge!

This picture was taken when I was about 30 weeks pregnant. We had just gotten back from the beach, gifts were starting to pile up in anticipation of my baby shower. I knew at this point that I was starting to slow down, but had NO clue it was due to pre-e.

We were on vacation in OBX. I was 29 weeks pregnant. It was around this time where we could FINALLY breath a sigh of relief. I was off bedrest, feeling okay, over the moon with excitement in anticipation of our two little girls. Little did we know that in a matter of a couple weeks, those little girls would enter the world. This was a great time for us.

This picture was taken on Mother's day. My mom had come into town and we took her to the Melting Pot. Edgar gave me a string of black Tahitian pearls. They are beautiful!

27 weeks. We were going to see Avenue Q with the Brennans.

At 24 weeks, the nursery was ready for furniture.

20 weeks. Notice poor Fred (yes, we named our plant) in the background... he, too, was severely thirsty.
19 weeks. We took this picture as I was out the door to class. I remember this because it was one of the first times that people were not afraid to ask me if I was pregnant. For the first trimester, people were still in the "is she, isn't she?" stage and were apparently afraid to ask me if I was expecting.
